Horace Andy [alias Sleepy] is one of the sweetest and most distinctive voices in reggae music. He was born in 1951 in Kingston, Jamaica. He recorded his first track in 1966 for producer George "Phil" Pratt, a song titled "Black Man's Country." But it was four years later that his star truly began to shine when he joined Clement "Coxsone" Dodd's Studio One label.
