In early 2006, Guillaume Bougard, producer of TABOU1, booked the Harry J Studio for a week to record 12 new songs by Horace Andy, following the success of Mek It Bun, released a few years prior. To support such a legendary artist, TABOU1 asked Sly & Robbie and the Revolutionaries (Channel One's studio band in the late 70s) to work "old school": all musicians would play live, together and in one take, instead of recording their parts separately as is done today in modern music. The result is stunning, with luminaries such as Ansel Collins and Robbie Lyn on keyboards and organ, Sticky Thompson and Skully Sims on percussion, Dalton Browne and Dougie Bryan on guitar. Tyrone Downie, Bob Marley's synth wizard, added musical pixie dust, while Stepper handled the brass.
