Reflection

Description

On Reflection, Hooverphonic’s second album with singer Noémie Wolfs, the band returns to an authentic analog sound. Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts did not want to simply record in a studio, but rather in their fans’ homes in order to obtain that very particular reverb, that “reflection” so essential to these tracks. In early 2013, Hooverphonic launched a call to its fans to suggest potentially unique houses as part of the ambitious “Hooverdomestic” project. In the end, five locations were selected: four in Belgium and one in France. The result? The most catchy and joyful album ever made by Hooverphonic. In addition, Noémie Wolfs is joined on this album by three new singers/instrumentalists, who bring an extra spatial dimension to the tracks on Reflection.
