Fresh Air (5 Year Anniversary Edition) - Vinyle Splatter Bleu & Transparent

Description

Born in the dreary isolation of the remote city of Edmonton, Canada, Peter Sagar of Homeshake worked with friends in a number of local bands before regrouping and moving to Montreal in 2011 to start recording under the name Homeshake. After two self-produced cassettes (The Homeshake Tapes and Dynamic Meditation) and two acclaimed albums (In The Shower and Midnight Snack), Sagar opens a window with Fresh Air, his third album released in 2016 on Sinderlyn. Started immediately after the recording of Midnight Snack, Fresh Air continues Sagar's exploration of dreamy, downtempo chamber R&B and draws inspiration from disparate artists such as Sade, The Band, Broadcast, Prince, and Angelo Badalamenti. As the title Fresh Air suggests, Sagar's songs were created to clear his listeners' minds of any negativity. Full of hazy, laid-back love songs and airy productions, Sagar's decidedly stoned sound is a breath of fresh air. Anniversary reissue with a blue and clear splatter vinyl pressing.
