THE NEW SIGNATUREOF US SONGWRITERS ON MASCOTThis American Rock 'n' Roll band takes its name from Bob Dylan's song "The Ballad of Hollis Brown". Formed by Queens natives Mike Montali (vocals/guitar) and Jonathan Bonilla (lead guitar). It was while traveling across America that they found their true voice, recruiting Andrew Zehnal (drums) in Cleveland and Adam Bock (keyboards) in St. Louis.Since their formation in 2009, Hollis Brown's music has already gained goodnotoriety and has thus been regularly used for TV and cinema: for the trailer of Michael Keaton's film "The Founder", in the film with Willem Dafoe and Matt Dillon, "Bad Country", in series like "Kingdom" or "Shameless", and for several advertising campaigns.The band has toured extensively in the US and also in Europe, either headlining or supporting bands of the caliber of Counting Crows, Citizen Cope, The Zombies, Jackie Greene, Heartless Bastards, Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, or Jesse Malin, which has allowed them to build a solid fan base on both continents. By signing with Mascot, the band should take another step forward.
