On this new album, Hollie Kenniff goes even further into reminiscence, seeking and commemorating the tenderly tragic pain of half-forgotten places lost in time: the dim glow of a grandparent's living room; a lonely clearing by a path that it's impossible to remember if it ever existed or was imagined; the soothing light of a film that aired years before our birth. We All Have Places That We Miss transmutes these glimmers into a palpable sound realm that can be revisited at will, reminiscent of the ambiance found in the intertwining pedal sounds of Windy & Carl, Adam Wiltzie, and Liz Harris.
