Description

The album Odysseús was born from a moment of rupture. Stuck in Montreal during the pandemic, separated from his family in Los Angeles, the artist lives in isolation in a deserted hotel while waiting for his paperwork to be sorted. Every day, he visits Leonard Cohen's grave, leaving a stone or a flower, and hopes to be able to return home. It is in this waiting, between solitude and hope, that inspiration is born. Back in California, after getting married and experiencing the best tour of his career, he randomly meets producer David Garza, a respected figure in the American music scene. Together, they create a unique project: to record the tracks live, at his home, with renowned musicians, without headphones or edits — in the pure tradition of the Buena Vista Social Club. The result is a raw, warm, and deeply human album that captures a journey filled with doubts, rebirth, and regained light.
