Odysseús

The album Odysseús was born from a moment of rupture. Stuck in Montreal during the pandemic, separated from his family in Los Angeles, the artist lived in isolation in an empty hotel while waiting for his papers to be sorted out. Every day, he visited Leonard Cohen’s grave, left a stone or a flower there, and hoped he would be able to go home. It was in this waiting, between solitude and hope, that inspiration was born. Back in California, after getting married and experiencing the best tour of his career, he met by chance producer David Garza, a respected figure on the American music scene. Together, they put together a unique project: recording the songs live, at his home, with renowned musicians, without headphones or retakes — in the pure tradition of Buena Vista Social Club. The result is a raw, warm, and deeply human album that captures a journey marked by doubt, rebirth, and rediscovered light.
