Description

Bossa and jazz feel right at home here. Salvador sings with an infinitely controlled softness, and the tracks are splendid. The team that worked on the album is young: Keren Ann, Benjamin Biolay, Art Mengo, and a few others, who are well-versed in the works of Antônio Carlos Jobim, Chet Baker, and Henri Salvador. An astonishingly modern album that does not sacrifice the slightest bit of authenticity to trends and fads. The album's biggest hit, Jardin d'hiver, is a testament to this.
