Description
Released in 1996, Nocturnal is the debut studio album by the hip-hop duo Heltah Skeltah, composed of Rock (Jahmal Bush) and Ruck (Sean Price). The album was produced by Buckshot (of Black Moon), Lord Jamar, Da Beatminerz and others. It peaked at number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and at number 35 on the Billboard Top 200 that year. The 18 tracks skillfully incorporate samples from artists such as Johnny Pate, Lalo Schfirin and George Benson.
