"The Affair of the Poisons" is the second album by the pioneers of English thrash black metal. Old school riffs and hyperspeed solos have earned HELLRIPPER the reputation of being one of the best heavy metal bands in the UK. Inspired by legends such as VENOM, KREATOR, BLACK SABBATH, and METALLICA, James McBain formed HELLRIPPER in 2014 and with the release of the first EP "The Manifestation of Evil", a first album "Coagulating Darkness" released in 2017 followed by the EP "Black Arts & Alchemy". "The Affair of the Poisons" was recorded and mixed by McBain himself and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Obituary, Midnight, Nails).
