For their debut, the Hanseatic metal band Helloween combined speed metal with concise melodies, thus anticipating their characteristic sound that would bring them worldwide attention with the next two albums, 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys'. A major difference from subsequent albums is the choice of singer, as on this album, Kai Hansen was the frontman of Helloween.
