Tout begins today, a new sunny album with the exceptional collaborations of Zazie and Jean-Jacques Goldman. Hélène Ségara is definitely one of the greatest vocalists on the French scene, with a voice so pure that she is instantly recognizable. Of course, the impressive collection of gold, platinum, and diamond records attests to a success that has never waned, evidenced by the 150,000 sales of her very successful duet album with Joe Dassin, released in October 2013. Hélène has undoubtedly managed to choose the melodies and words that resonate with the public, perhaps because she has always infused them with immense sincerity and much of her personal history. Hélène experienced the recording of her 8th studio album with undisguised pleasure, getting involved as usual in the composition and writing. She has thus infused her intuition and tenderness into each of the tracks. Hélène has once again collaborated with her husband, Matthieu Lecat, but for the first time, the highly sought-after talents of Jean-Jacques Goldman and Zazie have blended their sensitivity with hers. Goldman tailored the first single of the album, "Tout commence aujourd'hui," a deeply optimistic song. Zazie wrote "Genre Humain" with her, a title that is almost a spitting image of Hélène and which the latter performs with her own daughter and a children's choir. They also collaborated on the very touching "Je te Pardonne." Hélène no longer hesitates to let go, break her voice, and express her feelings. "Tout commence aujourd'hui," the first single written for Hélène by Jean-Jacques Goldman, for the first time in her career.
