Ninth pressing on double black vinyl. Double black vinyl, 12" (33 RPM), in a gatefold sleeve with bronze hot foil and printed inner sleeves. Ninth pressing of 300 copies worldwide! In the Germanic language, HEILUNG means "healing," which is also the core of the group's sounds. The listener indeed feels serene and relaxed after a magical and initiatory journey. It took 3 years to complete "Futha," which was finalized on the darkest day of the year, at the winter solstice. Unlike "Ofnir" (2015), this new album has a more feminine symbolism and draws inspiration for its lyrics from ancient Icelandic poetry. It is pointless to try to relate this music to our modern political-religious context, as HEILUNG takes the listener to a time long before Christianity and modern ideologies.
