Shaped with legendary producer Rob Schnapf, H-Burns is back with "Sunset Park."
Sometimes calm, sometimes turbulent, a lot of water has passed under the bridge since his solo debut with "Songs from Electric Sky" in 2006. Since then, H-Burns has released a beautiful body of albums where acoustic folk and electric rock intertwine, and minimalist ambition meets mastered lyricism. This ninth studio album, "Sunset Park," is a perfect distillation of his work. From its superb introduction, punctuated by impressionistic touches of lapsteel, we are immediately immersed in H-Burns' America. In the meantime, the artist has collaborated with Dominique A, one of his rare living French role models. Distinct yet close, their two sensibilities observe the gaze of the loved one changing until they are no longer recognizable.
