HAUSCHKA, the German composer, songwriter and experimental musician has brought an exciting new perspective to the piano. The prepared piano (a technique used to bring new sounds to an acoustic piano) has been around for centuries, but HAUSCHKA was unaware of this tradition when he began exploring these new sounds. This limited edition vinyl is a document of two 20-minute improvisations based on his latest album Abandoned City (2014) and recorded in Japan.
