Few groups have come close to the pastoral beauty and Krautrock power of HARMONIA, the ephemeral German band that, between 1973 and 1976, brought together musicians DIETER MOEBIUS and HANS-JOACHIM ROEDELIUS from Cluster, and MICHAEL ROTHER from NEU!. While their music was little known during their active period in Germany, it quickly captured the attention of BRIAN ENO and DAVID BOWIE. ENO was so impressed by HARMONIA (which he once considered "the most important rock band in the world") that he briefly joined them for recordings in 1976. After these sessions, the band members went their separate ways. Their music continues to inspire generations of musicians beyond what they could have imagined in the 70s. This box set contains 5 vinyl records (including one of unreleased material): Musik from Harmonia (1974) Deluxe (1975), Harmonia & Eno '76 / Tracks and Traces, Harmonia Live 1974, and the unreleased Documents 1975; a 36-page booklet, poster and pop-up, and a download card.
