A radiant project, brimming with light and groove. Bossa nova, reggae, socca, afro funk, tropical... Football, cycling, the Olympics, tennis: if the sunny days are the setting for major sporting events, they have also, for the past five years, been the time Guts and Mambo have chosen to release their annual Beach Diggin' production. The harvest from around the world has once again proved fruitful in rare gems, sometimes unique of their kind, found in damaged shells or as the only survivors of the successive, destructive passes of the big record collectors. Patiently collected and selected, Guts and Mambo then arranged them to form a vinyl barrier and create an atoll preserved from the auditory pollution that music industry players unleash by the ton when summer comes. Jazz-funk, samba-rock, disco, soul, reggae: the variety of styles and moods is once again here!
