New album by GUSTER "Evermotion" on Nettwerk, after a 4-year wait. Produced by Richard Swift who plays synth in The Shins and is none other than the bassist of The Black Keys, "Evermotion" is a rollercoaster in terms of influences and production. Having produced Foxygen & Stereolab in the past, Richard Swift brings energy to the band's sound, which was more pop in the past. The quartet formed by Ryan Miller, Adam Gardner, Brian Rosenworcel and Luke Reynolds recorded "Evermotion" in just 3 weeks, leaving small errors and avoiding editing or modifying takes as much as possible. The result is a whirlwind of groove and synths, pop but adventurous, accentuated by the presence of Jon Natchez (The War on Drugs, Beirut, Passion Pit) on saxophone.
