A native of São Paulo, Guilherme has quietly built a reputation as a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to loop-based beats and groovy bass lines. He has played and recorded with Mauricio Takara in Hurtmold (4 albums) and is also part of São Paulo Underground (with Takara and Rob Mazurek). He also plays, produces, and records as Bodes & Elefantes and has toured extensively in South America, the United States, and Europe with São Paulo Underground, Prefuse 73, and others. With Ghost Parades, Guilherme further explores his beat-based deviations while managing to connect the dots between the Wu-Tang Clan and the Sun Ra Arkestra, adding a good dose of tropicalia for good measure.
