Description
Grinderman was born in 2004 when Nick Cave was working on the Bad Seeds' album Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus. With Martyn Casey, Warren Ellis, and Jim Sclavunos, he developed a rawer, wilder sound. With the help of producer Nick Launay, they recorded their first album, Grinderman, released on March 5, 2007 (including the singles "No Pussy Blues" and "Get It On").
