Repelling all limits to their breaking point, GRIDIRON will go to all extremes and even beyond. They probably follow the most unpredictable playbook in the game. The band can flood the area with a barrage of death metal splattered with body paint, only to turn around for a victory lap narrated by bling-bling and boastful bars. Their hybridization of metal, hardcore, and hip-hop would not be out of place at OZZfest 1997 or Rolling Loud 2027. That’s why the quintet - Matthew Karll [vocals], Will Kaelin [guitar, vocals], Xavier Wilson [guitar], Lennon Livesay [bass], and Tyler Mullen [drums] - has carved its own path as a phenomenon with millions of streams and praise from Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, NO ECHO, and more. GRIDIRON was born from a series of marathon Call of Duty sessions during COVID, which led to writing and recording together. Their musical pedigree spoke for itself with Will also in Never Ending Game, Xavier in Simulakra, and Tyler and Lennon in Scarab. Given their individual experiences, the guys immediately locked into a creative groove. After the EPs 'Loyalty At All Costs' (2020) and 'Worldwide Brotherhood' (2021), they released their first full-length album, 'No Good At Goodbyes' (2022).Side A :26
