A major album in Gregory Isaacs’ discography, “Mr. Isaacs” was released in 1977. It includes “Slave Master,” which is featured in the film “ROCKERS.” Conceived by artist and producer/musician Ossie Hibbert as an album project, it contained three of Gregory Isaacs’ greatest hits: “Smile,” “Slave Master,” and “Set The Captives Free.” The status of "Mr. Isaacs" as a reggae cornerstone was solidified with the 2001 Blood & Fire label re-release. Remastered by Kevin Metcalfe, this 32-track Deluxe Double CD includes songs by Gregory Isaacs, Deejay Cuts by Dillinger, Clint Eastwood, Big Joe, and U-Brown, as well as the complete "Leggo Dub" album. The accompanying musicians and bands are The Revolutionaries, The Soul Syndicate, and The Heptones.
