DAYDREAMER

Description

Grégoire Jokic turns the piano into a hero and takes us on a journey Beyond The Ocean - a vibrant and captivating album. For his second album, Grégoire Jokic confirms his mastery and turns the piano into a central character in his musical narrative. Sometimes in the foreground, sometimes as a distant echo, the instrument gives the tracks an evocative depth. Vocals also make an appearance, carried by Grégoire’s voice on “Together” and “Around Us”, as well as by Nina Versyp on “Gone” and Heroe on “Run Away”. Hours spent in the studio allowed him to refine arrangements of great precision, infusing power and energy into tracks like “Echoes” or “Beyond The Ocean”, the first single. The album, produced and mixed by Antoine Thibaudeau (Thylacine, Kid Francescoli, French 79), marks a new step in his sonic universe.
