The Nimrod 25 - 25th Anniversary Edition box set available on January 27, 2023 includes the original album, a disc of unreleased demos, and a concert recorded at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on November 14, 1997, one month after the release of Nimrod. This 20-track performance includes several excerpts from Nimrod and songs from their previous albums and singles. The 14-demo disc contains two unreleased tracks by Green Day ("You Irritate Me" and "Tre Polka"), plus an unreleased cover of "Alison," the classic by Elvis Costello. 5th album by Green Day released in 1997. This more mature and varied album with acoustic and Ska elements marks a turning point in their career. Includes the hit "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" 'Nimrod', the fifth studio album by Green Day, was originally released on October 14, 1997. The Billboard Top 10 LP declared "Green Day's best!" by Kerrang was driven by the hit singles "Hitchin' A Ride," "Redundant," "Nice Guys Finish Last," and "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," the latter selling 5 million copies in the United States alone. The song was written as a bittersweet ballad and became the soundtrack for life's significant moments; it was even featured in the series finale of Seinfeld. The album has sold over 3 million copies in the United States (triple platinum) and has been certified multi-platinum, platinum, or gold in several other countries, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, Australia, and Spain.
