Ruins

Description

GRAVE DANCE COMPANY was born from the last chapter of the Austrian gloom-rock pioneers Jack Frost, bringing together members of the band and Michelle Darkness (End Of Green). What initially started as a one-off collaboration quickly transformed into a completely independent band, with its own identity. Their first album, "Ruins", delivers a powerful mix of dark rock, emotional intensity, and memorable songwriting. Built around strong melodies, straightforward arrangements, and Michelle Darkness's unique voice, the album strips the genre down to its emotional core. Exploring themes of impermanence, loss, and introspection, "Ruins" offers an honest and deeply personal listening experience, never falling into the clichés of dark music. Tracks like "Give Myself Away" and "Where Are You Now" perfectly illustrate the band's ability to combine heaviness with real emotional depth. Released via Reaper Entertainment, "Ruins" marks the beginning of a captivating new chapter for musicians who have shaped the European dark rock scene for over three decades.
