Widely considered one of the seminal live performances by the Grateful Dead, and certainly one of the best of 1973, this concert at RFK Stadium (Washington, DC) is among the band's greatest performances, alongside the concerts of February 13, '70, August 27, '72, and May 8, '77. It showcases the Dead at their best, as evidenced by its opening track "Morning Dew," the epic tracks "Bird Song," "Playing in the Band," "Here Comes Sunshine," "Eyes of the World," and a legendary version of "Dark Star."
