Description
After an EP, two albums and a marathon world tour, Grand Blanc decided to take their time. Time to recharge, time to rethink the band, to tighten their bonds even further by isolating themselves for nearly a year in a house deep in the Picardy countryside. It was this new place and the daily contemplation of nature that gave rise to this new transformation of the band. A new album driven by renewed instrumentation such as harp, folk guitar, pedal steel, and electronic craftsmanship in service of a dystopian tale, a quest for color in a world that has become pallid.
