Based in Connecticut, the quintet Goose, formed by Rick Mitarotonda (vocals, guitar), Peter Anspach (vocals, keys, guitar), Trevor Weekz (bass), Ben Atkind (drums) and Jeff Arevalo (percussion, drums, vocals), weaves through the interstices of funk, alternative, and rock with head-turning melodies, technical fireworks, and the kind of alchemy that only happens in small towns and among longtime friends. The common thread among their stylistic diversity is a rich and deeply rooted improvisational language. After performing sold-out shows across the country and delivering a series of seismic festival performances, the musicians return with their second studio album titled *Shenanigans Nite Club*. The record took shape on the touring road. They progressed naturally before reaching the same artistic wavelength. This progression was at times tumultuous, and the album reflects the band's journey toward fulfillment. Ultimately, Goose forges its own path and encourages everyone to do the same, to think outside the box. Many people urged them to play it safe, but in the end, the coolest thing in the world for the band members is to be free from all chains and realize their musical vision, even the most twisted one.
