GOODWIN is the solo project of Rob Goodwin, singer and baritone voice of the Manchester band The Slow Show, known for their cinematic indie pop. At the end of 2023, during a break from touring with his band, GOODWIN began working on something more personal. A collection of intimate recordings, stories better suited to a quieter, rawer space. Inspired by the melancholic atmospheres of Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake, these deeply personal songs have vulnerability at their core. Romantic and dreamlike narratives in which one can curl up to escape. "These songs are fragments of myself, born in quiet moments at home and shaped in Berlin, with Lambert, a friend and collaborator whose curiosity pushed me to explore new depths. This is one of my most personal works, and sharing it is both exhilarating and terrifying, as vulnerability often is." - GOODWIN
