Goldfrapp releases their dazzling new album 'Tales Of Us' on MUTE/naïve on September 9, 2013. Their sixth album, 'Tales Of Us' is written and produced by two members of the band (Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory) and was recorded in their studio located in the English countryside. The sumptuous work of 'Tales Of Us' was developed over two years and is the most narrative, cinematic, and intimate album ever recorded. Nothing in their back catalog references the new lyrical scope of 'Tales Of Us'. All tracks except one are titled after an evocative character casting: opposing loves, suspense, hallucinations, fairy tales and modern folklores, and traces of redemption. These titles refer to the delicacy of Goldfrapp's poetry. With its unique narrative cinematic storytelling, filmmaker Lisa Gunning is currently creating a fascinating and beautiful film to accompany the album. It will be screened in theaters later this year.
