Description
In 2013, GOLDFRAPP released *Tales Of Us*, a folk album infused with all the codes of songwriting. Their new album, *Silver Eye*, marks the band's return in a different register, as its sound palette is electronic, dark, deep, and inspired by underground electro. After spending ten days in Dallas with John Congleton, the Grammy-winning producer for St. Vincent, John Grant, and Wild Beasts, Alison and Will went to London where they teamed up with electronic music composer Bobby Krlic, aka The Haxan Cloak. Brian Eno's collaborator Leo Abrahams added abstract guitar textures, and the album was mixed by David Wrench (The xx, Fka Twigs, Caribou). The visual, which provides a perfect analogy to the drama of the elements contained in the music, was entirely conceived and photographed by Alison on a volcanic island in the Canary Islands.Buy Silver Eye at the best price
