Godspeed You! Black Emperor, GY!BE to those in the know, the iconic Canadian post-rock band, has just announced the name of the successor to the immense Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend!, released in 2012. This announcement is almost a surprise, so long had the wait been between GY!BE’s two previous albums. This new album, which will feature 4 tracks for a total running time of 40 minutes, was recorded with sound engineer Greg Norman in studios in North Carolina and in Montreal, Quebec. Following the release of this new opus, the post-rock troupe will head out on a European tour throughout April 2015 and, good news, France will not be left out. Godspeed You! Black Emperor will be in concert at the Transbordeur (Lyon) on April 15, 2015, at the Aéronef (Lille) on April 16, 2015, at the Bataclan (Paris) on April 22, 2015, at La Vapeur (Dijon) on April 24, 2015, and at La Laiterie (Strasbourg) on April 28, 2015.
