Gob Psychic hail from the vibrant underground scene of Aarhus, Denmark. Inspired by the relentless output of Melbourne bands and American Midwest eccentrics, Gob Psychic play abrasive yet aggressive, catchy yet accessible garage/post-punk. Their live performances are captivating and chaotic, a rare display of both anger and fragility that leaves you bewildered, thrilled, and eager to start your own band. Gob Psychic’s self-titled debut EP, released on French labels Beast Records and Le Cèpe Records, is kick-ass, abrasive and catchy. The songs primarily address a strong aversion to work and a general sense of alienation from a society riddled with stress and breakdowns, and always focused on productivity and achievement.
