"I am only interested in people engaged in a process of personal transformation," wrote Susan Sontag. The group Gnod fully embodies this idea through twenty years of sound and spiritual exploration. Driven by constant curiosity and a countercultural spirit, it rejects any rules or limits. Unintentionally, the band marks this anniversary with a new creative phase. A six-day studio session with producer John "Spud" Murphy proved particularly fruitful. From this collaboration, three albums were born, forming the trilogy Chronicles Of Gnowt. This first installment explores a wide sonic range, between repetition, minimalism, and maximum intensity. It oscillates between tranquil landscapes and powerful psychedelic flights, while remaining distinctly Gnod. Always in motion, the band continues its artistic quest, free and endless, far from inertia and boredom.
