GLEN HANSARD is an Irish singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. His acting career is closely linked to his vocation as a musician, as he played the guitarist Outspan Foster in "The Commitments" by Alan Parker, and in the film "Once" by John Carney (2006), he portrays a street musician who meets a pianist and singer played by MARKETA IRGLOVA. He even makes an appearance in "The Simpsons," which is a mark of recognition.
