"HISTORY REPEATS" is a very special song in every way: it surprises with a very atypical sound for Gimp Fist, incorporating elements of folk punk, and for good reason: it is released exactly 20 years after their first concert in a pub, on June 6, 2005, in Bishop Auckland, and it has managed to capture that atmosphere musically. Instead of simply celebrating themselves as is often the case with anniversary songs, the lyrics convey a clear message to society and politics in favor of mutual respect and peace, as the signs unfortunately indicate that "history repeats itself" with all the current conflicts in the world. The British street punk band RIOT CITY RADIO addresses all football fans with their new song "We're still singing." An anthem about the terraces that calls out to all the "fair-weather" supporters who turn their backs on their sports team when times are tough.
