Released in 2015, Twelve Reasons To Die II is the second volume of the collaboration between Adrian Younge and Ghostface Killah. Ghostface is joined by a new lyrical companion for this second installment: Raekwon. The chemistry forged two decades ago on Rae's classic *Only Built 4 Cuban Linx* is still as strong as ever, clearly evident in five of the album's thirteen tracks. Wu-Tang's executive producer and patriarch, The RZA, also returns as the story's narrator. While the first installment of *Twelve Reasons To Die* was set in 1960s Italy and detailed the machinations of the formidable DeLuca crime family, the second part is set in the seedy streets of mid-1970s New York. The descendants of the DeLucas run the city, but a powerful younger crime syndicate is forming, led by the black gangster Lester Kane (portrayed by Raekwon). The storyline of the second part comes to life through Younge's unique and evocative cinematic and psychedelic music. The music, on which he himself plays more than 10 instruments on some songs, was recorded exclusively on analog tape to bring out the 70s authenticity that serves as the backdrop for *Twelve Reasons To Die*. *Twelve Reasons To Die II* is another success for everyone involved, especially Younge and Ghost, who have once again put their talent and intelligence into this dramatic and captivating story. All of this fits perfectly into the Wu-Tang family tree as well as Adrian Younge's constantly expanding musical universe, which proudly relies on Linear Labs to showcase it.
