Ghalia Vauthier, professionally known as Ghalia Volt, is a Belgian blues rock singer, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter. She has participated in the release of five albums since 2016, including Mississippi Blend (2019) released on Ruf Records. It peaked at number three on the Billboard Top Blues Albums Chart. Another new discovery for the "Ruf" label. And as often, a beautiful lady who plays and sings the Blues to perfection. This is her 4th album on the RUF label. 4th experience... After a first album in 2017 accompanied by Mama’s Boys and a second in 2019 that was more bluesy and electric, GHALIA took advantage of the lockdown to record a 3rd album almost entirely on her own in 2021. She plays all the instruments (Guitar, Drums, Slide) and, of course, sings. Nearly 3 years later, she returns to us with a new album. This time as a Trio!
