Gérald Toto is one of the voices of the famous pan-African trio "Toto Bona Lokua" (alongside his friends Lokua Kanza and Richard Bona), with whom he released two acclaimed albums and embarked on a world tour. With "Sway," Gérald reinvents himself, presenting an introspective journey recorded alone at home. He even likes to say that this is his true first album. He has found his clear path, guiding us with his sublime voice towards the vast spaces of intimacy, as if whispering in each person's ear. We let ourselves be carried away by his influences and musical fusions: pop romance, blues, jazz, samba, oriental melodies, Manding, or Caribbean percussion. He sings freely, in his imaginary language, that of the heart. Gérald gets to the essence, doing good for himself to do good for others.
