Description
On White Rabbit, the head and producer of CTI, Creed Taylor, placed George Benson in sumptuous Spanish arrangements by Don Sebesky. The title track "White Rabbit" remains powerful even without the lyrics, while "California Dreaming" sounds relaxed and warm with its Andalusian harmonies. On the final track, "El Mar," Benson delivers truly inspiring playing. This was Benson's first release on CTI (Beyond The Blue Horizon was released on its subsidiary Kudu Records) and the debut of guitarist Earl Klugh.
