Description

Gentleman's Dub Club returns in the spring with the album Dubtopia and the clear intention of bringing a ray of sunshine. The band delivers to its listeners a cathartic release from a world filled with stress, injustice and hypocrisy, like a musical bubble separated from everyday life, meant for gathering and celebration. The nine members of the Leeds band, Jonathan Scratchley (vocals), Tommy Evans (drums), Luke Allwood (keyboards), Nick Tyson (guitar), Toby Davies (bass, synth), Niall Lavelle (percussion), Matt Roberts (trumpet), Kieren Gallagher (saxophone) and Harry Devenish (sound) all actively took part in the creation of this new album, from the rehearsal studio to the mixing desk. Dubtopia also features appearances by Taiwan MC, Lady Chann, Parly B & Eva Lazarus. Fans of the band will be pleasantly surprised by the warmth that comes through on this new album, as it has the same energy that characterizes their live shows!
