Generation Axe is a supergroup formed by Steve Vai in 2016, composed of the cream of American Rock and Metal guitarists. Just look: they are none other than Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society / Ozzy Osbourne), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), and Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) who joined Steve Vai. The band toured North America in 2016 and 2018, as well as Asia in 2017. It is this Asian tour that is immortalized by the album Generation Axe: The Guitars That Destroyed The World (Live In China).
