Geagea's debut solo EP, Emotional Overload, takes its name from a playlist she created for herself in case of emotional overload. Entirely written and produced by Geagea, the EP explores the intricacies of mental health, queerness, and the strength of resilience. From the opening track, I Fear Nothing, the tone is set: a fragile and disarming a cappella introduction that transforms into an explosion of courage, driven by saturated guitars and massive drums. Further on, Nah Nah Nah takes on the air of a rebellious anthem — a post-punk burst that breathes joyful insolence, a way of resisting without apologizing, of dancing in the face of social pressures. Across nine tracks, Geagea builds a unique sonic universe, where the electronica of the Kid A era meets the raw grain of 90s MTV grunge and the dreamy vapors of dream pop. A journey between intimate whispers and liberating cries, without ever losing its balance.
