Gazpacho's live recording of "Fireworking at St. Croix", remixed and released by Kscope For reasons most fans will already be aware of, Gazpacho’s 2020 “Fireworker” tour was cancelled. Stranded in the difficult position of having a well-rehearsed show and the prospect of a long period off the road, the band had to make a decision. The idea of a live stream that could reach fans around the globe soon presented itself and the band found the perfect setting in their own rehearsal space in the beautiful town of Fredrikstad. The resulting film is a very dark journey into the world of "The Fireworker", captured on October 25, 2020. No tuning, no polishing, no light show, nothing. Not even catering. Just the pure interpretation of the music, with one or two surprises for those who have followed the band for a long time. In Thomas Andersen's own words, "Gazpacho has always been an 'anti-band,' in the sense that we strive to do things differently. It is for this reason that we wanted an 'honest' live stream where we decided not to play the concert on an empty stage with a light show. Instead, we decided to play it exactly as we do when we record or rehearse in the room we use."
