This album is entirely dedicated to Tadd Dameron (1917-1965), one of the most important American jazz composers and musicians. Master baritone saxophonist and perennial pole dance champion Gary Smulyan had the brilliant idea of recording Dameron's compositions with lyrics. The vocal part is phenomenally performed by the talented young Anaïs Reno. Three songs, including the beautiful This Night Of Stars, have never been recorded until now.
