HOW BLUE CAN YOU GET - ÉDITION LIMITÉE - VINYLE BLANC
Description
White vinyl reissue of this album that reminds us of the mastery of the legendary modern blues guitarist. On the program: "In My Dreams," a succulent ballad on which Gary makes his guitar weep with all its tears, and "Looking At Your Picture," another surprisingly melancholic moment.
But before that, the album kicks off with a cover of Freddie King's "I'm Tore Down," which Moore loved to play live. Then he takes us into a masterful version of Memphis Slim's classic "Steppin' Out," before slipping in a superb Elmore James' "Done Somebody Wrong," which highlights his exceptional touch. And what about "How Blue Can You Get," stretching over an enormous 7 minutes, never before achieved, a vibrant and burning tribute to BB King's 1964 hit. After an alternative version of "Love Can Make A Fool Of You," the record soars into a stratospheric finale with the magnificently painful "Living With The Blues."
