Issuing from the music scene in Austin where he grew up, Gary Clark Jr. started playing guitar at 12 and performing in clubs with the greatest guitarists including the illustrious Jimmy Vaughn. Since then, he has participated in Eric Clapton's famous Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago and recently gave a concert at the White House in front of President Obama with other talented guitarists such as Jeff Beck, BB King, and Buddy Guy. After his first album "Blak and Blu" (2012 - 12k sold in France), Gary Clark Jr. returns with a new album "The Story of Sonny Boy Slim" produced, composed & played almost entirely by himself. It features the inspirations that have made this character a new breath for blues music: solid guitar riffs, and soul gems infused with R&B. Gary Clark JR will, following the release of this album, be on tour in the USA with the Foo Fighters.
