I recorded this album five years ago. I spent most of my career playing bass or guitar with other bands, so it's amazing to say that this will be my first album containing only my own compositions. I learned a lot from my father (R.L. Burnside) and Junior Kimbrough. This album is truly a tribute to them, to what they taught me, and to my growth as a musician.
