100% GALCHER changed the game when it arrived in 2013 as an hour of original music by Galcher Lustwerk, a relatively unknown producer at the time, brought to light by the renowned mix series Blowing Up The Workshop. Galcher Lustwerk's signature sound - a baritone with a vaporous stream of consciousness battling beats, inspired by funk, rap, and RnB - was like an epiphany, incredibly hypnotic and developed. Since then, some tracks from 100% GALCHER have been pressed in limited runs, while the album mainly lives on SoundCloud and YouTube as an underground cult legend. Now Lustwerk's catalog is well established and known for its prophetic vision of the future of underground dance music. Ten years after the first recording, Lustwerk is reissuing 100% GALCHER through Ghostly International as a remastered double album in a limited edition. Almost all the masters of the tracks had been destroyed by water damage on his computer. The only versions were of very poor quality. For this reissue, Lustwerk resurrected the lost tracks and had them remastered by Josh Bonati. Synth interludes ("Stem") pave the way for rough house anthems like "Fifty" and "Parlay." Although recorded alone, 100% GALCHER was a collective moment. A decade later, Lustwerk sees the legacy as shared.
